Jorge Balarezo is a Milan-based creative director and graphic designer whose work moves fluidly between fashion, design, and culture. His practice centers on building visual worlds that feel both contemporary and culturally attuned, with a strong emphasis on clarity, cohesion, and point of view. In addition to fashion, he also specializes in image direction for beauty and skincare, with experience developing visual languages for both emerging and established brands.
In 2021, Jorge founded Jorge Balarezo Studio, a creative practice focused on campaign work, visual direction, and branding for clients in the fashion and lifestyle space. The studio works across image-making, film, identity design, and product, offering a consistent yet adaptive approach to brand storytelling.
He has held senior roles at Moncler, where he led content and campaigns for the Collection and Grenoble lines, and at Calvin Klein, where he directed global campaigns across digital, print, and film. From 2018 to 2023, Jorge worked with OAMC as Design Director, where he developed a unified visual and product language across garments, packaging, communications, and collaborations. Earlier in his career, he worked at Wednesday Agency, contributing to brand positioning, campaign development, and content strategy for fashion and luxury clients.
His recent work with District Vision (since 2024) involves leading a new image and tone direction for the brand, including campaigns created in collaboration with New Balance. Other clients and collaborators include Nike, Prada, Adidas, Estée Lauder, La Mer, Birkenstock, Garage Magazine, Daniel Johnston, and A Magazine Curated By.
